Die Röhn UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat

The UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve stretches across three federal states, with the Thuringian part accounting for around 20 %. The landscapes include hills, forests and extensive grassland. Fruit and wine growing also have a long tradition here. Bizarre rock formations can be marvelled at near Bad Brückenau, while the Celtic village of Sünna reveals more about the former inhabitants of the Rhön.
