Welcome to Villa Ludwigshöhe

“A villa in Italian style, intended only for the beautiful season and in the mildest part of the kingdom” – this wish was realized by King Ludwig I of Bavaria (1786 – 1868) with Castle Villa Ludwigshöhe near Edenkoben.
The classicist villa, reminiscent of ancient models, enchants with precious hardwood floors, rich ceiling and wall paintings, and a unique view extending far over the Palatinate and the Rhine valley.

Group bookings possible from mid-September through the SÜW Edenkoben tourism office.
