Martberg Temple Complex Pommern

Welcome to Martberg temple complex, Pommern

Martberg hill, about 180 metres above the river Moselle between Pommern and Karden, was the location of a fortified town-like Celtic settlement. The centre of the town or oppidum became a Gallo-Roman temple. Parts of the temple complex have been restored and are open to the public.
