Welcome to orgel ART museum rhein-nahe

The queen of instruments ... The organ is probably the largest, loudest - and perhaps also the most difficult - instrument in the world. Its sound ranges from soft pianissimo to thundering fortissimo and has more range in depth and pitch than any other instrument. The "queen of instruments" gets this wonderful sound from the many different pipes that are made to ring while playing.

The organARTmuseum Windesheim has assembled a surprisingly versatile and impressive collection of pipe organs and other keyboard instruments, which will amaze not only music lovers. Stroll through the modern building, which itself is based on an organ, and listen to explanations from the headphones.

You won't miss a thing and you can pause for a moment at the large concert organ in the main room. Organ building and organ music have been declared intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO, which makes the organARTmuseum in Windesheim a particular attraction and experience to explore and experience the history of German organ building.
