The Mullerthal, often referred to as Luxembourg's Little Switzerland, is characterised by its unique landscape and impressive sandstone rock formations. The Mellerdall Nature & Geopark was founded in 2016. Hikers will find numerous well-signposted trails that lead through dense forests and along picturesque streams. The oldest town in Luxembourg, Echternach, forms the centre of the region.
