Loccum Abbey is an outstanding example of late Romanesque architecture. This architectural style can be marvelled at in the monastery church, which is over 800 years old. During a guided tour, visitors learn more about how the monks put their commandment "Ora et Labora" - pray and work - into practice and are warmly invited to take part in the devotions in the monastery.
