The special charm of the town Kirchheim unter Teck lies in its beautiful historical old town and the numerous baroque half-timbered houses. On a walking tour you will find the most beautiful half-timbered town hall in the country, built between 1722 and 1724. Worth seeing in the arcades is the coffered ceiling with Baden-Württemberg coats of arms and the moon phase clock on the facade. The town hall tower may be climbed during city tours. 116 worthwhile steps: A magnificent panoramic view opens up, which in good weather extends from Albtrauf to Stuttgart Airport.
Kirchheim unter Teck has a centuries-old market tradition. Three times a week there is a vegetable, fruit and flower market. Once a month there is an extensive grocer's market and twice a year a big fair. A modern business world is added and shows that traditional customs and today's way of life are closely connected here. The city is also an ideal starting point for tours on foot or by bike.
