Welcome to Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg
# THE HOCKENHEIMRING – MORE THAN RACING
The Hockenheimring, world-famous for Formula 1, offers pure premium motorsport with the German Touring Car Masters (DTM), hot dragster duels, thrilling motorcycle racing, and unique classic car races. But open-air concerts, music festivals, and popular sporting events also thrill the crowds. Other highlights include bookable driving experiences, tourist drives, e-kart action, and insider tours.
The multifunctionality with which the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg, opened in 1932, presents itself to up to 700,000 visitors annually is a flagship of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Formula 1, DTM, and the drag racing event NitrOlympX offer international motorsports alongside many other high-caliber races.
But open-air concerts with world stars such as AC/DC and Robbie Williams are also among the legendary events held at the world-famous race track. Throughout the year, test drives for the automotive industry and driving experiences in a class of their own take place. Thousands of participants take part every summer when the BASF FIRMENCUP invites them to the running event of the year on the 4.574 km Grand Prix circuit. There is a lot to experience at the Hockenheimring. The traditional circuit is fully booked more than 320 days a year and, with its numerous possibilities and locations, offers the perfect setting for any kind of event.
At the adjacent Hotel Motodrom, the well-being of young and old motorsport fans alike is always the top priority. The regional delicacies of the Motodrom restaurant—with a unique view of the start and finish straight of the legendary race track—and the cozy, comfortable rooms invite you to linger.
**Celebrations, groups, (company) outings –** From insider tours to simulators and training courses to giant Carrera and race tracks, thanks to the wide range of event modules with all-inclusive services, there is something for every event here!
