Goslar und Rammelsberg Weltkulturerbe

Bergtal 19, 38640 Goslar

Goslar und Rammelsberg Weltkulturerbe
The town of Goslar and the Rammelsberg ore mine have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. While Goslar is known for its half-timbered architecture and the magnificently decorated imperial palace, a thousand years of mining history await you at the Rammelsberg. Here, original machines show how ore was processed in the past. Visitors can also explore an old tunnel system and take a ride on the mine railway.
