Special and collection exhibitions of the highest quality!

We are currently showing the special exhibitions “The Little Dragon Coco & Other Characters by Ingo Siegner” and “Caesar & Cleopatra”, as well as the photo exhibition “Horst Hamann – The Imperial Cathedral of Speyer. Under the title “Cross and Crown” visitors can look forward to impressive exhibits from 1000 years of church history. The collection has moved from the museum's new building, where it was on display until August 2021, to the historic old building. The layout of the new exhibition space resembles a multi-aisled church building with a transept and cloverleaf-shaped choir. Therefore, the old building is ideally suited for the presentation of sacred artworks.

With the Pfalzcard, you receive free admission to the exhibition "Cross and Crown". Special exhibitions are not included in the Pfalzcard.

Please note: Due to renovation work only the collection exhibition "Cross and Crown. The Cathedral and Diocesan Museum in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate" as well as "Luther, the Protestants, and the Palatinate" can currently be seen.
