Welcome to Friedberg

The former imperial town of Friedberg was one of Hesse’s most important towns in the Middle Ages. The town’s heyday was in the middle of the 13th century thanks to the cloth trade. The Adolfsturm, the keep of the medieval castle and Friedberg’s famous landmark, still resonates the glory of former years. Further insights into the past can be gained by visiting the Wetterau Museum.
