Known for its picturesque canals, also known as Wieken, the Fehn region in East Frisia with its waterways created 200 years ago invites you to cycle along its banks. Other special features in addition to the white bascule bridges and fen houses are the windmills that visitors can marvel at in Bunde and Großefehn. The spa town of Wiesmoor attracts visitors with its flower-filled parks, while the Idasee lake is popular with swimmers.
