Welcome to Donaueschingen

Like pearls, small bubbles of water rise in the spring pot - a fascinating spectacle that adds to the magic of the world-famous source of the Donau origin in the Princely Palace Park in Donaueschingen. From here, the Donau embarks on a 2800-kilometer journey from the Black Forest to the Black Sea. Incidentally, the Donau Cycle Path also starts at the source of the Donau - a classic among long-distance cycling routes.

Donaueschingen can be explored in many ways: Stroll through the sprawling castle park and discover the Fürstenberg Castle with a booked tour. Stroll through the Art Nouveau downtown and visit one of the numerous museums. These include, for example, the Museum Art.Plus with significant contemporary art or the Princely Collections with extensive natural history departments. Very entertaining and informative is a guided tour of the Brewery Museum, which of course concludes with a tasting.
