Ath, cite des geants

Ath, known as the "city of giants", inspires with its cultural heritage. The famous parade of giants, the so-called "Ducasse", attracts over 50,000 visitors to Ath every year at the end of August. Outside of the festivities, the "Musée des Géants" displays exhibits relating to the parade. Located on the Via Romana, the former Roman settlement of Ath also has a museum for Gallo-Roman artefacts.
