Welcome to Argenbühl
The climatic spa resort of Argenbühl - six charming villages - refreshingly diverse, with unobstructed views far into the Alps. Christazhofen, Eglofs, Eisenharz, Göttlishofen, Ratzenried and Siggen. Each village has its own charm and its own eventful history.
Between meadows, forests and Alpine views
Around 140 kilometers of marked hiking trails lead through Argenbühl's varied landscape. The paths run over gentle hills, past meadows and moors, and through shady forests. Again and again, views open up to the Allgäu Alps. The Allgäu Hiking Trilogy and the West Allgäu Water Trails also invite you to discover the municipality on foot.
Argenbühl is also wonderful to explore by bike. As part of the Württemberg Allgäu cycling travel region "Naturschatzkammern," the municipality offers varied tours through the characteristic foothill landscape. Argenbühl's "Alpenvorfreude" tour lives up to its name: over scenic 42 kilometers, the Alpine views change constantly. This makes for enjoyable cycling.
In summer, the Moorbad bathing area near Eglofs invites you to swim in a natural setting. In summer, varied picnic concerts are also held here. In the cooler seasons, the Eglofs Panorama Pool invites you to swim in warm water and relax.
Anyone who prefers to spend winter outdoors can breathe in the fresh, cold Allgäu air on the winter hiking trails, with or without snow, or, if lucky, glide through the snow-covered landscape on the cross-country ski trails.
