Das Gelände der Villa Borg – einer rekonstruierten römischen Anlage – erstreckt sich über rund 7,5 Hektar und liegt an der bedeutenden römischen Fernstraße von Metz nach Trier. Glücklicherweise ist dieses Gebiet seit der Antike ungenutzt und unbebaut geblieben. Die Römische Villa Nennig indes ist berühmt für ihren prachtvollen, aus mehr als 3 Millionen Steinchen zusammengesetzten Mosaikboden.
