Awaiting you in Altdorf, renowned for its Wallenstein Festival, is a wealth of history and countless sights. The fully preserved Renaissance building of the historic University of Altdorf forms part of the medieval town centre.

Erlangen, renowned for its university and medical expertise, is considered to be one of the best preserved Baroque towns in Germany.

Elevated above the Altmühltal Nature Park is the baroque styled, cathedral town of Eichstätt. Being a diocesan town it boasts a number of magnificent abbeys and churches.

Lindau is located on the east bank of Lake Constance. It covers an area of around 70 hectares and is therefore the lake’s second largest island.
