Welcome to Maria Martental pilgrimage church

The monastery and the pilgrimage church Maria Martental with an over 800 years long monastic tradition are among the most famous and oldest attractions in the slate country of Kaisersesch.

The Priests of the Sacred Heart took over the monastery in 1927 and revived the pilgrimage. Numerous groups of pilgrims visit Maria Martental throughout the year. Enjoy the idyllic location - nestled in nature, above the valley of the Wild Endert.

In the art and bookstore, you can take home a small souvenir for yourself or your loved ones.
