Wehrkirche Beucha
Already in the 13th century the oldest parts of the Beucha mountain church were built as a fortified church on a rock above the Kirchbruch lake. The special thing about this building: Due to centuries of erosion of the rock, it stands above an almost vertical slope. Alongside the churches of Panitzsch and Hohen Thekla, it is known as one of the "Three High Priests" in the Leipzig area.
