Does Universum® Bremen look like a silver whale or maybe a clam shell? The spectacular exterior of the most successful science centre in Europe is a clue to the extraordinary interactive world within. You can observe lightning on the lightning machine, and even stop the strikes in their tracks. Or there is the earthquake sofa, where you feel what it is like to sit through three actual earthquakes. And the lie detector helps you get to grips with the truth. With over 300 exhibits on people, nature and technology, the extensive discovery park is a veritable invitation to get hands-on, have a go and experiment.
Outside, it is all about wind and water. From the top of the tower 27 metres up in the air, you can not only enjoy beautiful views over Bremen, you can also find out more about the power of the wind.
With a climbing wall, a crawler tunnel and lots of other high-energy stations, it is also perfect for little ones looking for a few hours of adventure.
