Töpferstadt Waldenburg

Waldenburg has been known as a pottery town since the late Middle Ages. Some traditional workshops, some of which still exist today, sell their products at the annual pottery festival, especially in June. Architectural sights include the late Gothic St Bartholomew's Church and Waldenburg Castle. Built in the 12th century, the castle's interior is richly decorated with gold and chandeliers.
