The Bützow-Land district has two important religious buildings, the collegiate church and the Rühn monastery. The collegiate church was built in the 13th centuryand boasts a richly decorated high altar. Rühn Monastery, whose medieval brick façade is still well preserved today, dates from the same era. Concerts and craft markets are regularly held here.
