Stettiner Haff / Ueckermünder Heide

The Ueckermünde Heath stretches along the southern shore of the Stettiner Haff. Here, well-tended beaches invite you to swim, while the interior is characterised by dense forests and moors. These provide a home for rare bird species and even wolves have settled in the nature reserves. The town of Ueckermünde, on the other hand, is known for its half-timbered houses and the baroque St Mary's Church.
