Rochlitz Castle has dominated the town of the same name on the Zwickauer Mulde for over 1,000 years. The castle chapel with its imposing ribbed vaults can be visited, as can the castle cellar and the so-called black kitchen: Medieval cookery courses are offered there. From the castle's two towers, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding river landscape.
