Salzstadt Staßfurt

Steinstraße 38, 39418 Staßfurt

Salzstadt Staßfurt
First mentioned in a document in 806, the salt town of Stassfurt is located to the south of the state capital Magdeburg. The Staßfurt Town and Mining Museum is dedicated to the history of salt deposits in the town itself and along the River Bode. In the Strandsolebad, which opened in 1929 and is Central Europe's only open-air natural brine bath, bathing enthusiasts can feel the salt directly on their skin.
