The Rübeländer stalactite caves in the Harz Mountains are impressive natural phenomena. The two largest caves are located in the Oberharz am Brocken: the Baumann Cave and the Hermann Cave. The former has been in operation since 1646 and delights visitors with Germany's only underground natural theatre and the artificial Wolfgangsee. Meanwhile, visitors to Hermann's Cave can discover a sparkling crystal chamber.
