Residenzschloss Heidecksburg Rudolstadt

As the crowning glory of Rudolstadt, the Thuringian residential palace Heidecksburg is one of the most important baroque palaces of the 18th century. Thanks to its elevated position, the residence offers sweeping views of the surrounding area. The ballroom, richly decorated with chandeliers and stucco paintings, is particularly worth seeing. A permanent exhibition displays historical weapons and miniature castles in the rococo style.
