Rennstadt Schleiz - Naturparkregion Thüringer Meer

The number one attraction in the racing town of Schleiz is the "Schleizer Dreieck". Germany's oldest natural racetrack celebrated its 100th anniversary in June 2023. Annual international motorsport events attract many guests to the district town, which is located not far from the Bleiloch reservoir. The Oberland cycle path is around 14 kilometres long and runs along the old railway line of the Schleizer Kleinbahn, connecting the race track and reservoir.
