With a length of almost 300 metres, the railway bridge not far from Rendsburg is visible from afar. Consisting of 17,350 tonnes of steel, it is probably the city's most imposing landmark. The crossing of three transport routes at this point, namely the waterway, railway line and the road connection via the transporter bridge, is considered unique in the world.
