Niesky Holzbauten der Moderne

With almost 100 prefabricated timber houses, Niesky is a model town for modern timber construction in the Weimar Republic. These historic buildings, including residential and public buildings, reflect the technology and architecture of the time. A "wooden house trail" leads visitors through the housing estates, while a museum in the Konrad Wachsmann House, built in 1927, tells more about the development of industrial timber construction.
