Neukloster Sonnenkamp

Kloster Sonnenkamp, 23992 Neukloster

Neukloster Sonnenkamp
The town of Neukloster is known for its Sonnenkamp monastery complex, which was founded in 1219. Large parts of the complex fell into disrepair during the Reformation. However, the monastery church with its stained glass windows is still a popular destination today. Prehistoric artefacts are presented in the Neukloster Museum. Further south, a hiking trail leads around the idyllic Neuklostersee lake.
