Naturpark Schlei

The Schlei Nature Park, covering an area of around 500 square kilometres, is Germany's northernmost nature park. At its heart is the 40-kilometre-long Schlei inlet, which gives the park its name. Freshwater, brackish water and saltwater habitats provide a home for many animals and rare plant species. Visitors can explore the nature park on numerous hiking trails, by bike or from the water.
