Museum Kunst der Westküste | Insel Föhr

The Museum Kunst der Westküste - MKDW for short - is located on Föhr, one of the North Frisian Islands, in Alkersum. Covering a total of 900 square metres, it is dedicated to the theme of "Sea and Coast" with numerous works of art. There is no permanent exhibition: The top-class collection receives changing loans every year and thus provides a varied cultural programme in six architecturally appealing halls.
