The Museum of Industrial Culture Osnabrück tells the story of how coal was mined around the Piesberg over 150 years ago. Huge steam engines, geological finds and everyday objects of the workers are also on display here. Another highlight is the ride in the glass lift: This takes you about 30 metres underground, where you can explore the historic Hasestollen tunnel.
