Landschaftspark Goitzsche

The Goitzsche Landscape Park is located on the man-made Pouch peninsula in the Great Goitzsche Lake near Bitterfeld-Wolfen. International artists, miners, landscape architects and cultural scientists created the world's largest landscape art project here as part of EXPO 2000. On the approximately 100-hectare site, the impact of mining on nature is thematised. The Goitzsche recreation area offers a wide range of leisure and recreational activities.
