Historic old towns

Kürassierstadt Pasewalk

Am Markt 12, 17309 Pasewalk

Kürassierstadt Pasewalk
The cuirassier town of Pasewalk once served as the headquarters of the cavalry regiment of the Prussian army. The barracks and Villa Knobelsdorff, the residence of the site elder and now a hotel, have been preserved. The town museum also tells the story of Pasewalk's garrison history. In addition to two imposing brick churches, the fortifications with their well-preserved gates also bear witness to the medieval townscape.
