Kloster Lamspringe
Lamspringe Monastery can look back on an eventful history: Founded in the 9th century, the monastery experienced a period of decline in the late Middle Ages. English Benedictine nuns moved in in 1643. They had a baroque church built, the interior of which is richly decorated with altars and statues of saints. In the monastery garden, you can stroll under tall trees and visit a historic watermill.
