Historischer Stadtkern Nauen

The over 50-metre-high tower of the brick church of St. Jacobi rises up from the historic town centre of Nauen, visible from afar. Visitors will look in vain for a market square here, instead there is a market street. In Goethestraße, meanwhile, visitors can admire the temporary residence of Frederick the Great. Pioneering work in radio technology in the early 20th century earned Nauen the nickname "Funkstadt".
