Historischer Stadtkern Kyritz
Crafts and lucrative trade characterised the historic town centre of Kyritz in the Middle Ages. The prosperity of St Mary's can still be seen today. Built in the 12th century, the church was later extended by two impressive towers on the west gable. Visitors to Kyritz can see the visible remains of the town wall or visit one of the oldest Bible editions from the 15th century in the town hall.
