Historische Werrabrücke mit Liboriuskapelle Creuzburg
The Werra Bridge with the Liborius Chapel in Creuzburg is a special ensemble and impressive testimony to medieval architecture. The 800-year-old bridge, consisting of seven arches, is considered to be the best-preserved sandstone bridge in Germany north of the River Main. Once an important crossing point on the Roman trade route "via regia", today it is only preserved as a monument to traffic engineering.
