Heiligendamm's position as the first German seaside resort dates back to the late 18th century. Numerous prestigious buildings such as the Kurhaus and the Grand Hotel were built during this period. You can admire their gleaming white façades as you stroll along the seafront promenade. A pier that juts out 200 metres into the Baltic Sea offers expansive views.
