Grenzhus Schlagsdorf
The Grenzhus Schlagsdorf is located not far from the former inner-German border that separated Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from Schleswig-Holstein. In 2001, parts of the safety installations from the GDR era were reconstructed on the outdoor area 500 metres away. The Grenzhus itself houses a museum dedicated to everyday life on the inner-German border. In addition to display boards and original exhibits, you can look forward to film collages with interviews with contemporary witnesses.
