Festspielstadt Eutin
The town of Eutin has been staging its festival in honour of the composer Carl Maria von Weber since 1951. A total of over 200 performances have taken place to date. While the Weber opera "Der Freischütz" became the epitome of the festival, the stage on the Great Lake Eutin now also presents contemporary musicals alongside pieces such as Mozart's "Magic Flute" and Verdi's "Aida".
