Five heavy dredging giants rise up on a peninsula in the middle of Lake Gremmin, visible from afar: Ferropolis - the city of iron. In this open-air museum in Gräfenhainichen, visitors can embark on an exciting journey into the past and the future. Since 2005, the former Golpa-Nord open-cast mine site has also been part of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
