Erfurter Dom

Domstufen 1, 99084 Erfurt

Erfurter Dom
As the oldest church in the city, Erfurt's St. Mary's Cathedral also impresses with its height of around 81 metres. With its high Gothic choir, Romanesque tower area and late Gothic west hall, several historical styles are combined here. The stained glass windows were redesigned after the Second World War. In the centre tower is the world's largest medieval free-swinging bell, the "Gloriosa".
