Erfurt Augustinerkloster

Augustinerstraße 10, 99084 Erfurt

Erfurt Augustinerkloster
Founded in the 13th century, the Augustinian monastery in Erfurt, built in the style of medieval religious architecture, can boast a famous novice: It was here that Martin Luther joined the order in 1505. His cell can still be visited today. An exhibition reveals more about Luther's time in the monastery. In addition to overnight accommodation, the Augustinian monastery today also offers conference rooms.
