A tour along the medieval town fortifications shows why Delitzsch is known as the "town of towers". To this day, several watchtowers have been preserved alongside the remains of the walls. Among the largest are the Halle Tower and the Broad Tower, which once secured the west and east entrances. Meanwhile, you can look out over the park from the tower of Delitzsch Baroque palace.
