The tour takes us through the Kraichgau region, also known as "Baden's Tuscany." It winds up and down through the "land of 1,000 hills," past Eichelberg, Tiefenbach, and Elsenz, as well as the Kreuzberg and Michaelskapelle chapels with their fantastic views. We enjoy the varied views of our "compass," Steinberg Castle, which we also visit at the end. There we learn interesting facts about the castle's founding families and the very complex construction process.
