The 13th century Gnandstein Castle, now shines again in its medieval splendour after extensive restoration work. Three ornate altars adorn the castle chapel, and weapons from four centuries are on display in the foam magazine. From the keep, which is reached after climbing 155 steps, you can even see the Ore Mountains in good weather.
