Burg Dinklage
Dinklage Castle was built in the 15th century as a fortress surrounded by moats. Sisters of the Benedictine Abbey of St Scholastica have lived here since 1949. Manual labour is still an important element of monastic life. The nuns offer homemade candles and icons in the adjoining monastery shop. Guided tours of the castle are also possible.
